A 3D Configurator for Your Products, Without Code
Let buyers and clients change the finish, colour and material of each part, and see it on the real 3D model. Set it up in Studio by clicking, then share it or put it on your site.
Try it: pick a colourway

Embed your configurator anywhere
One line of code on Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Framer or any HTML page.
If your site lets you paste HTML, it works. No plugin to install, nothing to update.
How it’s set up
Three steps, and no developer.
- 1
Dress it in Studio
Put materials on the parts and light it like a product shot. Each look you make can become a choice.
- 2
Set the options
Pick the parts a choice changes (the doors, the top, the handles) and the finishes people can choose from.
- 3
Share or embed it
Send the link, give it a page, or paste it on your site. The swatches sit next to the model.
Two kinds of choice
Whole looks, or just the parts that change.
A look switches the whole model: every material and the light, as you made it in Studio. Part options change only the parts you chose, so four finishes, three tops and three handles make 36 combinations from ten swatches.
- Finishes from the Studio library: metals, plastics, rubber, glass and paints
- Name each choice the way your buyers say it: Fabric, Legs, Handles
- The first finish of each choice is what opens
- Every combination is real-time: nothing to render
Click a part on the model to add a choice for it
Who it’s for
Anything that comes in more than one finish.
Furniture and interiors
Fabrics, woods, legs and handles. Show every combination without rendering each one.
Product design
Colourways and finishes for a launch, a pitch or a client choosing between options.
Machinery and equipment
Paint codes, guards and housings: let the buyer see their spec on the real CAD model.
Jewellery
Yellow, white or rose gold, and the stone, on the ring as it will be made.
One model, every way out
Upload once. View, share, embed, host, configure and review it.
The same model, the same link to update when you upload a new version. Nothing to export twice.
Share a link
Send a link that opens the model in any browser. Choose who can look, comment or sign off, and when it stops working.
Learn more →Embed it
One line of code puts the 3D viewer on your website, portfolio or shop. It fits the space you give it.
Learn more →Host a model page
A page of its own on MeshMarkup, with your model, its name and a short description, to link to from anywhere.
Learn more →Make it configurable
Let people pick the finish, colour or material of each part. You set the options in Studio, without code.
Learn more →Get feedback
Clients click the model and the note sticks to that spot. They sign it off when nothing is left open.
Learn more →Let them download it
Switch on downloads for a model and viewers can take the original file. Off unless you turn it on.
Learn more →We protect your data
Your models stay yours.
Unreleased products, client work, a design you'd rather not see copied. Here is exactly what happens to the files.
Read the privacy policy →Encrypted on the way and at rest
Every file travels over HTTPS and is stored encrypted at rest. That goes for the model, its versions, its images and its textures.
Private until you share it
A model has no public address until you embed it or give it a page. Review links open through a pass that expires.
Switch it off in one click
Stop an embed, take a page down or switch off a link, and it stops working everywhere it was pasted, straight away.
Studios can't see each other
Separation is enforced by the database itself, not by page code, and keys to your connected apps are encrypted a second time.

FAQ
The questions people ask before they try it.
Short answers. If yours isn’t here, ask us — a person replies.
Do I need to write code to make a 3D configurator?
No. You set the options in Studio by clicking: choose the parts a choice changes and the finishes to offer. The configurator works on a link, on a hosted page and as an embed.
What can people change?
Two kinds of choice: a look, which switches the whole model to another set of materials and light you made in Studio, and part options, which change the finish of chosen parts only, such as the doors, the top or the handles.
Can I embed the configurator on Shopify or WordPress?
Yes, on the Studio plan and up: the embed code is the same one line as for the 3D viewer, and works on Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Framer and any site that takes HTML.
Which plan do I need?
Solo makes configurators with up to 3 looks plus part options, on links and hosted pages. Studio removes the limit and lets you embed the configurator on your own site. Free keeps one look per model.
Which 3D files work?
The same as everywhere in MeshMarkup: GLB and glTF directly, and FBX, OBJ, STL, PLY, DAE, STEP, IGES, Rhino, 3MF and 3DS converted in your browser. A model whose parts are separate objects gives you the most to configure.
Can my client pick the finish and then approve it?
They can try every option on the review link and leave a note on the one they want, pinned to the model. Sign-off works as it does for any model.
