Put Your 3D Models on Any Website
Embed an interactive 3D viewer with one line of code, or give a model a page of its own. Your visitors turn it, zoom in and look underneath, on a phone or a computer.

Lounge chair and ottoman
Black leather on a moulded wood shell. Turn it round, zoom into the stitching, look at it from behind.
<iframe src="https://www.meshmarkup.com/e/7Kq2pX" width="100%" height="480" allow="fullscreen" title="Lounge chair in 3D"></iframe>
Works on the site you already have
Paste the code into an HTML, Embed or Custom code block. The same line works on every platform.
If your site lets you paste HTML, it works. No plugin to install, nothing to update.
Embed a 3D model
From file to your website in three steps.
- 1
Upload the model
GLB or glTF as it is. FBX, OBJ, STL, STEP, IGES, Rhino and more are converted in your browser as you pick them.
- 2
Share → Embed
Pick the size, the background and the view it opens on. Copy the line of code.
- 3
Paste it into your site
In an HTML, Embed or Custom code block. The model turns, zooms and goes fullscreen right there.
The 3D viewer
The same viewer your clients review in. On your site.
Built for CAD and product models first: large assemblies, real units and part names, and exact materials.
Any device, any browser
Phones, tablets and computers, in every modern browser. Nothing to install and no plugin for your visitors.
Real materials
Physically based materials as your file has them, or the look you dressed in Studio: metals, plastics, glass and light.
Animations play
An animated GLB or FBX plays in the embed, with a play button and every clip the file carries.
Fullscreen and touch
Drag to turn, pinch or scroll to zoom. Show the toolbar and fullscreen, or just the model.
Doesn't slow the page
The viewer loads when it scrolls into view, so the rest of your page loads first.
Fits your layout
Responsive by default: it takes the width you give it. Set a height, or keep the shape of the view.
3D model hosting
No website? Give the model a page of its own.
Every model can have a public page on MeshMarkup: the 3D viewer, its name, a short description and your studio’s name. Send the address in an email, put it in your bio, print it as a QR code.
- A short, readable address you can change
- Choose whether search engines may list it
- Take it down in one click; it's private again
- Same page, newest version, whenever you upload

Downloads are off unless you switch them on.
Showing a model isn’t handing it over. On Solo and up you can let people download the original file from a model’s embed or page, model by model.
One model, every way out
Upload once. View, share, embed, host, configure and review it.
The same model, the same link to update when you upload a new version. Nothing to export twice.
Share a link
Send a link that opens the model in any browser. Choose who can look, comment or sign off, and when it stops working.
Learn more →Embed it
One line of code puts the 3D viewer on your website, portfolio or shop. It fits the space you give it.
Learn more →Host a model page
A page of its own on MeshMarkup, with your model, its name and a short description, to link to from anywhere.
Learn more →Make it configurable
Let people pick the finish, colour or material of each part. You set the options in Studio, without code.
Learn more →Get feedback
Clients click the model and the note sticks to that spot. They sign it off when nothing is left open.
Learn more →Let them download it
Switch on downloads for a model and viewers can take the original file. Off unless you turn it on.
Learn more →We protect your data
Your models stay yours.
Unreleased products, client work, a design you'd rather not see copied. Here is exactly what happens to the files.
Read the privacy policy →Encrypted on the way and at rest
Every file travels over HTTPS and is stored encrypted at rest. That goes for the model, its versions, its images and its textures.
Private until you share it
A model has no public address until you embed it or give it a page. Review links open through a pass that expires.
Switch it off in one click
Stop an embed, take a page down or switch off a link, and it stops working everywhere it was pasted, straight away.
Studios can't see each other
Separation is enforced by the database itself, not by page code, and keys to your connected apps are encrypted a second time.

FAQ
The questions people ask before they try it.
Short answers. If yours isn’t here, ask us — a person replies.
How do I embed a 3D model on my website?
Upload the model to MeshMarkup, open Share and choose Embed, then copy the line of code and paste it into an HTML or Embed block on your page. It works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Framer and any site that lets you paste HTML.
Which 3D file formats can I embed?
GLB and glTF upload directly. FBX, OBJ, STL, PLY, DAE, STEP, IGES, Rhino 3DM, 3MF and 3DS are converted to GLB in your browser when you pick the file, so they embed the same way.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free embeds and hosted pages show a small “Powered by MeshMarkup” badge and play up to 200 views a month. Solo removes the badge; Studio can also limit an embed to your own websites.
Can people download my model from the embed?
No, not unless you switch downloads on for that model. There is no download button, and the file address the viewer uses to show it expires after a few hours.
What happens when I upload a new version?
The embed shows the new version wherever it's pasted. You don't need to change the code on your site.
Can I stop an embed?
Yes. Switch the embed off and it stops working everywhere it was pasted, straight away. Switch it on again and the same code works again.
Is this a Sketchfab alternative?
For showing your own models on your own site, yes: embed, hosted pages and a no-code configurator, with the badge removed on Solo. MeshMarkup isn't a marketplace or a community: your models aren't listed anywhere, and you can also send them for client review and sign-off.
