Host a 3D model on a page of its own

Turn on a public page for any model and get an address like meshmarkup.com/m/your-model, with the 3D viewer, a title and a description. No website needed.

Every model can have a public page on MeshMarkup: the 3D viewer with all its tools, the model's title and description, and your studio's name, at an address like meshmarkup.com/m/your-model. Send it in an email, put it in your bio, or print it as a QR code. You don't need a website.

A public page is different from a review link: anyone with the address can look, but nobody can leave notes, and it doesn't expire. For client feedback, use Share.

Turn on a public page

  1. Open the model and click Embed

Embed sits beside Share, top right of the stage.

  2. Open the Public page tab

Switch on A page of its own. The address appears, with Copy and Open.

  3. Give it a title and a description

The title is the model's name unless you change it. The description shows under the viewer and in link previews.

  4. Choose the address

Edit the part after /m/. Letters, numbers and dashes.

What visitors see

Your studio's name and the page's address at the top, with Copy link (and Embed, when the model's embed is on, so others can put it on their site). Below, the model in the full 3D viewer: turn, zoom, measure, section cut, exploded view, the parts list and, for an animated file, the play bar. Then the title, the description, the version and when it was last updated. Upload a new version and the page shows it.

Your studio's name in the address

On Solo and up, switch on Your studio's name in the address for meshmarkup.com/m/your-studio/your-model. The first time, you choose your studio's part of the address; it's the same for all your models.

Search engines

Let search engines list it is off by default: the page can be opened by anyone with the address, but Google won't list it. Switch it on for portfolio pieces you'd like people to find.

Downloads, the badge and views

  • Downloads: on Solo and up, Let people download the file puts a Download GLB button on the page. Off unless you switch it on.
  • “Powered by MeshMarkup”: Free pages show it at the bottom. Solo and up can remove it.
  • Views: on Free, public pages and embeds share 200 views a month. The panel shows how many are used.

If you set up a 3D configurator in Studio, the page shows its swatches next to the model (Solo and up).

Take it down

Switch off A page of its own. The address stops working straight away, and the model is private again.
